where to start

I like this game. I didn't love it. It's great, not fantastic.

First off, balance issues. Tell me why the boss levels are so much easier than any normal level. Later in the game, the enemies have an ungodly amount of health, making the game mostly boring. After the third boss. Why not try making the enemies harder to hit? More powerful? Anything besides just giving them more health.

Secondly, drops. The money drops are mostly worthless, and help in little else besides restocking arrows and health. Also, if the enemies can drop entire fucking weapons (bows), then why never any arrows? As far as bosses go, you've made it so that the drops are so random a boss doesn't drop anything a lot of the time, which is COMPLETELY unsubstantial.

Third, maybe a better quality control? With so many painfully tough enemies on the screen, it bogs down really bad.

This game needs to go back to the drawing board. I like the idea, and the upgrades and whole system worked, but crunch your numbers, man.

Hey, the bosses start out easier than the waves, but at least the last boss should give you more trouble than a normal wave. I have plans to give them more abilities for the sequel.

If you get all the coin drops they do come in handy, but you are correct in saying the bow drops are more important to get. The boss automatically gives you money when it dies, should have made that more clear though. In survival mode the enemies do drop arrows.

You can change the quality on the main screen before you play, but I should have made that easier to access. I also should've limited the enemies on the field, I'll make sure to add those additions in the sequel.

Don't worry, the sequel will address and correct all of these issues.

Thanks for the review.

um....?

Looks great and all, but wheres the "regular pool" mode? Speed pool and arcade pool aren't the actual game...

wtf?

way too easy, and only 2 levels? how can you even submit a game that plays like a demo? terribly dissapointing...

AGGRIVATING

Dude, you were so close to having a great game! loved the battle system, story was acceptable, but the mechanics ruined it! Add some checkpoints and close up some of the pointless pitfalls. I only ever died by falling through the tinyest gaps that I could barely see. I understand if I fall into a chasm, but fuck those little cracks!

frustrating

theres a thin line between frustrating/addicting and frustrating/annoying and fucking irritating. you fell on the wrong side of that line. Try making the first 10 levels passable in less than 40 tries and you'll have something cool.

HELL no

The "dynamic" camera needs to be stopped desperately. The aiming system was thoroughly awful, and the starting positions were totally unfair. It looks amazing, but plays like complete shit.

totally unfair!

I totally agree with archad. I had a ton of fun with this game until it became literally impossible to beat a certain boss without restarting the level 400000000000000000000000000000 times. When difficulty is so ridiculous that your frustration builds up to mind-altering rage, then your game is a pile of shit.

wayyyyyy too hard

I couldnt even beat the first level. try setting the difficulty below "FUCK THIS SHIT" and youll have a great game.

unrealistic

the physics absolutely sucked. otherwise i really liked it, at least when I wasn't mind-bogglingly frustrated by my ball bouncing off the hole.

weird number system

Im sorry, but the hero unit shouldnt be hitting less than a standard infantry unit. balance the numbers and youll have a great game.

Yay I rule I gotta smoke.
