three word review.

worst. game. ever.

have to agree with a few people

Very well balanced, good knowledge of guns. I thought the zombies were appropriately stupid, and not being able to move while being attacked seemed authentic to traditional zombies. The only part thats unnecessarily hard is repairing walls between waves. it's not possible to get to each broken wall before it's overrun once again.

AWESOME, until...

Up until I was presented with the last boss without any warning, died, and had to start from a save that was WAY, WAY down the tower. A little warning or a checkpoint system would save me the effort of giving you half the stars you deserve.

ehhh

This game doesnt seem tested. It's very difficult very early on, which kills any fun factor it may have. The upgrades are too expensive early on. Adding a sword eliminates your lazer ability, that really sucked. The shields bouncing your attacks back was a terrible idea, especially for just the second level.

Balance some numbers like damage, health, and money, and it'll be a very playable, very creative game. Good start, but keep going.

When you upgrade the sword, you loose your laser and you can't shoot yourself, therefore the weapon is as good as the laser. However it's good constructive criticism, that I can use.

ups and downs.

This game took up a couple hours of my day, made doing laundry less boring. So before I get to folding that laundry, I'll try to help you out a bit.

Firstly, balance issues FTW. I agree with most of what Garm666 was saying, and I'd like to add that the unit spawn rate shouldn't be limited, because it doesn't seem like the computer has that challenge. Elven battles last for way too long with their "Complete and utter onslaught of decimation and frustration" ability, or whatever you call it.

Secondly, and this is for 6th-sage, the story needs improvement. I'm a writer myself, a published novelist, and I get a sense of exhaustion from your writing. The second half of the levels started to read as if you were up trying to finish at 4am, and just generally got over it. It started out compelling, but there was too much action too early on. I understand this to be a sequel, but at the same time you should market towards a reader who's joining your story for the first time. You don't love your characters, you just control them, and thats just heartbreaking. I'd really love a chance to get my hands on this piece to point out a couple needed improvements. If I were still teaching, I'd give you a C+ at college level, and a B at high school. The dialog wasn't genuine to the obvious time period either, people didn't say bitch as an insult, and few said it at all.

But I'm serious about the re-write, if you'd like some tips I'd love to help you out. Keep writing! You could really have some talent.

Finally, to all the people complaining that they can only make squires, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, you dolts. Upgrade BEFORE the battle, it's very simple.

Good game guys, keep up the good work.

even considering...

all the work that needs to be done, I havent seen anyone mention one MAJOR flaw.

why do you have to go to the beginning of each level if you die? I mean, really, if there are multiple parts to each level, can't those just be checkpoints instead of useless milestones of the same level?

try this

make it so you only take damage when something actually hits you.

unbalanced, sorry.

Liked the design, the idea, and the features, but your numbers need to be adjusted. Like enemy hp, defender strength, and especially damage done and/or speed of kamikazes.

I'm not saying this because I suck, it's just not fun when you make it that hard. It's a bad game at that point.

so...

it's devil may cry without the playability, coordination, or fun?

pass. 0/5, 2/10.

you have to pay to even save your character?

automatic 2/10. it would have gotten at least an 8 if you weren't trying to be so greedy. i loved this series until it turned into some cash cow. i wont be playing these anymore.

Yay I rule I gotta smoke.
